Great Ocean Road day tour

Our Great Ocean Road day tour is a full day spent exploring this truly majestic stretch of diverse coastline to take in its amazing array of spectacular attractions. Our first stop is on the Surf Coast, where at Bells Beach we stop to appreciate this world famous surfing break and to immerse ourselves in a bit of the local surfing culture.

The scenic journey along the Great Ocean Road is a highlight in itself, as we absorb some truly amazing coastal scenery, with new views being revealed around every bend. We make plenty of scenic stops, including of course a photo opportunity at the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch at Eastern View. A brief side trip into the sweetly-scented eucalyptus forest allows us to locate numerous local koalas in their native habitat.

After lunch we follow the Great Ocean Road away from the ocean and into spectacular Otway Ranges, where we stop to enjoy a guided eco tour in the cool temperate rainforest of the Great Otway National Park. And then it’s onwards to the world famous Port Campbell National Park and its iconic array of rock formations. You’ll be awestruck by the majestic monoliths of the Twelve Apostles, and fascinated by the tale of the Loch Ard which was wrecked in 1878 at the gorge which today bears it name. Our final sightseeing destination is the collapsed London Bridge, where two holiday makers were stranded when the first arch collapsed in 1990.

With a stunning view of the illuminated city as we return to Melbourne, you’ll remember this day as a true highlight of your Australian holiday.

Phillip Island

Departing Melbourne at in the late morning, this small group day tour encapsulates the very best of the region’s wildlife and gourmet delights. Our tour includes a visit the delightful Phillip Island Winery to sample not only the locally produced wines, but also a selection of Gippsland’s finest cheeses and other gourmet produce. We visit also the region’s sweetest attraction, the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory where we enjoy complimentary samples while exploring the Amazing World of Chocolate & marvelling at the astonishing array of chocolate creations.

From here we head to the famous Koala Conservation Centre to meet some of the friendly locals. We’ll walk among the treetops and view the numerous wild koalas up close at this iconic wildlife attraction. A visit to Point Grant and The Nobbies gives us an opportunity to enjoy views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest population of fur seals.

And then it’s onwards to the main event, where just after dark every night the world’s smallest penguins waddle ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. You’ll be truly enchanted as the stars of the show emerge from the surf and pass right before your eyes on their journey back to their homes.

We consider our tours fully discounted and we are certain that you will find that they are considerably better value than those offered by our larger competitors.

However, if both of our tours are booked together at the same time we do offer a discount of $10 per person off the total price of the two tours. This discount is not applicable in combination with any special offer discount.

We do not offer further discounts except for groups of 10 or more.
